Castello di Romitorio’s Brunello di Montalcino 2021 is seductive from the start. Aromas of dark cherry, spices and cedar wood grab your attention. The palate has a really silky open knit texture that is hugely appealing and enjoyable. Juicy black fruit with hints of orange peel, violet and a sweet tanning profile. This has a mouthcoating breadth but also good structure and length. Don’t be fooled its pleasurable and playful character.
