The original super Tuscan, Saffredi is absolutely on form in 2021 and a real delight now, but also to lay in the cellar for a few years. A single vineyard from Scansano in Maremma, this Tuscan wine displays real energy and freshness thanks to its altitude and coastal influence. With 60% new oak you can feel the vanilla and cedar spice combine with blackcurrant, dark plums and black cherry aromas. The core is concentrated and juicy with powdery, firm tannins that provide the perfect structure and focus to this powerful, yet perfectly balanced wine.
