A benchmark Nerello Mascalese, the Etna Rosso displays floral aromas, wild strawberries and pomegranate notes with subtle sweet and savoury spice that add some intrigue and complexity. Tannins are fine grained and well handled. The brightness of fruit really shines thanks to the ageing exclusively in concrete and large oak.

The 2020 is the total package when it comes to "entry level" Etna Rosso. Its bouquet is remarkably pretty, yet also deep and vibrant, with masses of crushed red berries and rose tones excited by a minty freshness. The textures are silky and pliant, matched by medium-bodied weight, delivering a bright mix of ripe strawberries and sweet spices. All the while, a core of juicy acidity maintains marvelous freshness, even as a subtle coating of grippy tannins linger through the well-framed finale. Bravo Alberto Graci.
