One of the great vineyards of Barolo, made by the Cavallotto family, in 2020, once again this is a truly exceptional wine. Slightly herbal on the nose, with dark fruit and notes of orange pith bringing lift and elegance. The tannins are incredibly fine, but there’s the structure for a long life. This is brilliant.
