Bright red berry, hints of purple fruits with a wild flower perfume combined with clove and pepper spice. The acidity is energetic and the palate is deliciously smooth with fine grained tannins. The finish is mineral and the wine possesses great purity.
The 2020 Schioppettino is vibrant in the glass with a ruby color. It displays a stunning mix of perfumed wild berries, grilled sage and rose. This is energetic and remarkably fresh on the palate, with depths of tart red berries and peppery herbal tones propelled by vibrant acidity. It finishes with medium length and a salty flourish, as a cascade of violet florals punctuates the wine perfectly. Once again, Marco Sara takes freshly-styled Schioppettino to the next level.
