The 2019 Titolo shows its volcanic origins beautifully. Notes of baked earth and petrichor swirl from the glass, with a core of ripe plums, and hints of blood orange, too. This is so complex. The palate is silky and savoury, with a saline thread running through, making you salicate. What a brilliantly poised, refined wine: an absolute stunner from Elena Fucci.
