A real highlight from the Contucci range this year is the Mulinvecchio. There is ripe, fleshy black cherry fruit with a vibrant line of acidity, accents of wild herbs, liquorice root and violets. The tannins are supple with a light chalkiness, and a tender grip on the finish.
