The 2018 Barbaresco from Gaja includes fruit from Sori Tildin and Costa Russi - there are no single vineyards this year. It's a delicate, pure, hauntingly beautiful Nebbiolo, with notes of wild rose and freshly-picked strawberries on the nose. The mouthfeel is so finessed, with the tannins saline and silky, and the acidity dancing across the palate.
