The De Marchi family own three hectares in Bramaterra, including one hectare in the most historic vineyard of the estate. It’s taken 14 years for Luca to feel happy with the wine, but this is a spectacular debut. Bramaterra has the most mineral soils here, and this, mainly Spanna with a little Croatina and Vespolina, is fine-boned, lifted, and utterly seductive.
