La Pieve is a single-vineyard in Castelnuovo dell'Abate, planted in 1997, originally blended until the quality was deemed worthy of a single vineyard bottling. Black cherry, liquorice and balsamic notes with layers of sweet and savoury spice. This wine encompasses power and finesse.
