On the nose notes of violet and wild Mediterranean herbs, with plenty of whole berry character. There’s spice here, and a tapenade note, too. The palate is structured and intense, with grippy yet remarkably fine tannins, while the wine finishes mineral and long. This is a benchmark for Le Serre Nuove. Superb.
