The 2016 Brunello di Montalcino is an astonishing Sangiovese from one our favourite estates. On the nose notes of wild herbs, fresh tea, orange peel, and a core of vibrant cherry fruit. And the palate is so intense yet light on its feet, with an elegance and refinement that can be so hard to find in Montalcino. This is a brilliant wine: a near-perfect iteration of the stunning 2016 vintage.
