2015 Barolo Bussia, Cantina Sociale ArnaldoRivera

Planted in 1972 and 1978. Quite dark and powerful, lovely energy, silky, very cherry, lovely tannic character, hint of rose and talc too, nice texture and very good energy and length. Racy but a sweetness of fruit. Cassis on the finish, and good length.

2015 Barolo Bussia, Cantina Sociale ArnaldoRivera

Arnaldo Rivera founded the Cantina Sociale Terre del Barolo, where local member growers contribute their grapes for the production of quite a lot of the region's most famous wine. However, with increasing focus on single "cru" wines, they started the ArnaldoRivera project in 2008 to bottle the best sites separately. With a dynamic young winemaker in place and huge investment in quality, these wines are pure, pleasurable expressions of their desirable terroir.
