2015 was an outstanding vintage in this part of Tuscany, and this is a beautifully expressive, powerful, yet elegant Galatrona. It’s got ripe plummy fruit, juicy tannins and a fine thread of acidity holding it all together. It tastes like a wine at a much higher price: a baby Masseto, if you will.
