This is one of the great wines of Italy: a wine legendary for its scarcity and its ageworthiness. The 2014 Trebbiano is still such a baby. Tightly wound and so textured, the mineral, citrus, floral finish lasts for minutes and minutes.
Along with the great 2010, this is the best Trebbiano d’Abruzzo from Valentini since his also outstanding 2008.
