This 100% Sangiovese flagship wine is a selection of the best vineyards aged in French barriques and is one of the original Super Tuscan labels. Wonderful dark fruits, violets, herbs and tea leaves combine to create a superbly aromatic scent. The palate is beautifully textured with complex and impressive intensity. Notes of leather and bright cherry are impeccably aligned and lead to a lovely punchy but velvetine finish. Tremendous freshness; this wine is a real star.
