More concentration than Chiniera with very pure black fruits and mineral intensity, this is a wine ‘brooding’, and will need time to show its full complexity. Time in the glass opens up the flavours to reveal lifted fruits and orange peel with some astonishing aromatics. Ginestra is rightly considered one of the best vineyards in Monforte, and this embryo of a wine will be one of the greats.
