The 2008 Chianti Classico Riserva from Castello di Ama is utterly delicious. Notes of sour cherry and a hint of kirsch on the nose, there’s a savouriness, too. Notes of rosemary and tapenade, and an incredibly focussed, pure, and complex palate. This is utterly delicious. Not to be missed.
