From 30 year old vines and, in good vintages, macerated for up to a month. This has a slightly deeper colour than the normale and a pronounced tar and rose petal nose. There is a lot of volume in this wine; the tannins are ripe and rounded and are completely folded into the bountiful fruit. This is very persuasive and fine, with a great future.
