This wine comes from six small plots or ‘sortes’, that are some of Rafael’s oldest plantings. Situated in the northern side of the Bibei valley in Santa Cruz do Bolo, the soil is pure granite and extremely low yielding, helping to produce a concentrated and mineral style of Godello. A slightly warmer vintage has led to a juicy and concentrated core with hints of the tropical, yet there is a wonderful salinity and zestiness to the wine that brings focus and energy.
