Originating from old vines (up to 120 years old) on steep, high altitude slopes on soils dating back to the Cambrian period, this wine has real soul. Bramble fruit and purple fruits combine with notes of liquourice. The partial whole cluster fermentation gives the wine a floral lift. The tannins are chalky and have a firmness to them, yet are so well integrated and provide great structure for the wine to evolve further.
