2022 Palo Blanco, Envínate, Tenerife
Palo Blanco is the name of the viticultural zone in the village of Los Realejos, an area that is famed for producing high quality Listán Blanco (also known as Palomino). Envínate source their grapes from 5 different plots with the highest vineyards at 850 metres. The vines are over 100 years old and are trained to an old system where the cordons are plaited, a truly unique method. Attractive struck match reduction combine with a steely, citrus character and lively acidity.
