2021 Táganan Parcela Margalagua, Envínate, Tenerife

Margalagua is an extremely steep and small vineyard parcel that overlooks the Atlantic at an altitude of 200 metres. The very old vines are a field blend of ungrafted Negramol, Listan Negro, Moscatel Negra, Listan Gacho, Vijariego Negro and many more that are unidentified. This is a truly unique plot and the resulting wine is breathtakingly delicious. 100% whole bunch gives this wine an attractive floral lift of wild flowers and strawberries and an additional herbal note. The tannins are fine grained and the palate is silky and delicate. A wine that has an incredible sense of place.
