Winemaker Jorge Monzón is an extremely talented winemaker and has managed to secure some impressive very old vineyard parcels to realise his potential. This Reserva is an ethereal and restrained red wine that sets a new paradigm for the Ribera del Duero. And the mild 2020 vintage has played right into Monzón‘s hands. The tannins are extremely fine grained and the length is impressively long and seductive.
