A Rioja that is from the family of Alvaro Palacios in the Oriental part of the region, with their vineyards benefitting from 550 metres altitude, somewhat unique for the district. Predominantly Garnacha (90%) this is a wine that displays wild strawberries, redcurrants and ripe, juicy cherries. There is sweet clove and vanilla spice that are supported by ripe tannins.
