White from Priorat is a real rarity,and this is made from a grape variety, Cariñena Blanca, that's so rare they're not even allowed to put the name of the grape on the label. Just over 2,000 bottles are produced of this, from a single, tiny vineyard of a few hundred vines. It's textured, intense, with notes of wild herbs, fennel, beeswax and orange peel. It is, of course, a curiosity, but it's brilliantly made, and is well worth a try.
