2016 Montecastro Reserva, Ribera del Duero
The 2016 Reserva from Montecastro is rich, powerful, and brilliantly complex. From high altitude vineyards in Ribera del Duero, and made by the team at Hacienda Monasterio, this is a benchmark release from the estate. Notes of plum and a hint of cocoa, as well as sweet spice and a long and structured finish. This will be delicious from the off, but is sure to age impressively, too.
