Alvaro Palacios’ passion for the grape – and indeed, everything to do with the vinous heritage of Spain – is remarkable.Attractive on the nose, with notes of dark berries and a hint of menthol, this is an aromatic and enticing wine. On the palate, it is more restrained, with a concentrated dark fruit profile, and finely honed tannins. With a dart of acidity on the finish, adding a sense of elegance and refinement to what is quite a big and bold wine.
