The team here elected to release the 2007 and 2008 before the 2006, and the tightly wound nature of the 2006 gives a good idea of exactly why. This is savoury yet spiced, with a rich core of dark, brooding fruit. The finish is mineral and remarkably long: this is a wine to put to the back of the cellar and forget about!
