Take the stress out of buying a gift, let them choose exactly what they want.
Roda I is selected from parcels (“landscapes”) that give a deep, black fruited nature with minerality. This 2004 was most impressive when we tasted it in October 2015. The complex array of aromas blends plum and dark cherry with evolved notes of charcuterie, liquorice and coffee beans. The palate has shed its flush of youth and this wine is really starting to hit its stride. Pure rich fruit fills the mouth (without being heavy or overly dense) framed by fine grain tannin. This is a complex wine unfurling with time in the glass and the persistence of flavour is very long.
