From early 1900s plantings, Zwerithaler is a truly remarkable site that is one of the oldest vineyards in the Wachau. The soil is very similar to Klaus and its steep, terraced plots combined with the various subtypes of Gruner help contribute to the uniqueness of the site. There is a smokiness and mineral, salty profile that provide the backbone to this cuvée. Juicy, ripe peach and blossom aromas with hints of white pepper.
