This is Roland Velich's steepest slope in Lutzmannsburg, surrounded by forest and on chalk soils with the grapes coming from old vines planted as far back as 1921. A wine that is wonderfully mineral with a silky core and fine grained tannins. Small red berrys and floral with hints of graphite.
