Roland Velich is the king of Blaufränkisch and every vintage brings greater precision and purity. The reserve has older vine fruit from mainly Lutzmannsburg and displays wild strawberry perfume with red cherries and spice. The tannins are extremely fine grained and tightly knit, with a lively acidity and silky core that provides finesse and freshness.
