2011 Centgrafenberg Pinot Noir Grosses Gewächs, Fürst, Franconia

2011 Centgrafenberg Pinot Noir Grosses Gewächs, Fürst, Franconia

Sebastian Fürst takes his inspiration from the greats of Burgundy - Mugnier, Barthod, Rousseau and Dujac - and the results speak for themselves. This is a beautifully-crafted Pinot Noir from one of three Grand Cru vineyards in the village. Lovely, rich, heady black-cherry, strawberry and gentle earthy notes. There is brilliant concentration, a hint of spice on the finish and very fine, grainy tannins. A real Burgundy-lover’s wine; this will not disappoint.
