The estate owns just half of one hectare of vines on the steep, south-facing Prälat slope. Considered one of the warmest sites along the Mosel, vines on this sheltered site produce rich, honeyed Rieslings that display extravagant flavours simultaneously with incredible vibrancy and race. Clearly a fabulous vintage for Prälat, Loosen’s Auslese Gold Capsule is laden with mango flavours that are broadened by hints of oriental spice. Exceptional.
