2021 Siefersheimer Heerkretz Riesling Grosses Gewächs, Wagner-Stempel, Rheinhessen
Having tasted this wine at the winery in Spring 2023, I was very impressed with its focus and energy. This is a cool site and open to westerly winds on a south east exposition. Jasmine, white blossom notes are supported by white stone fruits and citrus. The core is so focused, with a saline profile and hint of reduction, incredibly delicious and concentrated.
