This precipitous slate site is only 6km from the Rhine River offering a slightly warmer micro-climate than other locations. A perfume of honeysuckle, peach kernel and a touch of apricot is mirrored on the palate with the perfect balance of sweetness and acidity; honeydew melon, peach and guava flavours also jump out of the plethora of fruit. This is a wine full of energy, vibrancy and ripeness, held together by a remarkable structure.
