Here’s a delicious English fizz: one that delights with its energy and playfulness, as well as its depth of flavour and length. This is the first blended Classic Cuvée they’ve produced, based on the long, dry, warm 2016 vintage. It’s a blend of 57% Pinot Noir, 22% Chardonnay, and 21% Pinot Meunier (marking it out immediately among English bubblies), and the wine has undergone 3 years aging on the lees following malolactic fermentation. This ensures that there's a richness and complexity here that’s present in only the best English fizz I’ve tried, alongside the focus and precision that marks it out at recognisably English.
