2013 Tillington Single Vineyard, Nyetimber

The 2013 Tillington is surely the greatest wine yet produced in the British isles. The nose is delicate and floral, with notes of redcurrant and rose petal, enchanting and complex. The palate is finely judged, with wonderful acidity and just a hint of toasted brioche alongside a basket of fruits: wild strawberries, crunchy red apples, and pears. It's the structure that's truly remarkable, with dancing acidity and a wonderful mouthfeel. This is a stunning wine: one you'll want to try.

2013 Tillington Single Vineyard, Nyetimber

The first English winery to make sparkling wine from the same - and only - grape varieties as Champagne, as well as the very first English single vineyard cuvée, Nyetimber are English fizz pioneers. Since planting vines in 1988, their commitment to quality is unrivaled. In 2012, they even abandoned the entire harvest when they felt the grapes didn't reach full ripeness. Nyetimber hold a place at the pinnacle of English production, frequently challenging, and beating, Champagne in blind tastings.
