2019 Aÿ Grand Cru Collet
Collet’s Aÿ Grand Cru 2019 has a slight amber tinge, as you’d expect from a Blanc de Noirs. It has delicate notes of honeysuckle and pear. On closer inspection there are hints of red fruit, nutty hazelnut, and sweet almond. Overall, it’s an inviting nose that gives more with time in the glass. The palate has a great core of crisp lemon and some fleshy oranges. It is well structured and precise. There is a pleasing minerality and fresh satisfying finish.
