2018 'Abyss' Rosé Brut Zéro, Leclerc Briant

A blended Rosé of 85% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Noir. The Abyss Rosé is a different animal to the Brut. The nose seems altogether deeper and more developed, showing hints of dried flowers, sage, hay and fennel. The palate shows less lift too, instead giving a weight and concentration that screams out for food. Disgorged in July 2021 and submerged in September 2021 for 10 months.
