Grand Siècle, created by Bernard de Nonancourt, seeks the “perfect year” beyond nature’s limits. Iteration N°27 blends 2015, 2013 & 2012 from 8 Grands Crus and aged 10+ years on lees. The result is rare, complex, fresh and with timeless elegance, revealed only 27 times since 1959. Grand Siecle No.27 opens with aromas of honeysuckle, ripe pear, and freshly baked brioche, complemented by hints of toasted hazelnut and stony minerality. The palate is both generous and precise, with vibrant acidity carrying flavors of poached apple and lemon curd. Its creamy, mouth-filling texture leads to a long, resonant finish with a distinct saline quality. Displaying great tension and harmony, iteration No. 27 is more open than No. 26 was on release but still possesses the structure for significant aging. A beautiful Grand Siecle!
