A blend of 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir, the 2014 Coeur de Cuvee is an astonishing Champagne from Laurent Champs. There's rippling energy from the vintage, softness from the ageing of the base wines in old oak barrels, while 70 months on the lees has developed tons of complexity. This is so long and complex. Remarkable.
