The 2008 Comtes de Champagne has a slightly reticent nose, with notes of acacia blossom and oyster shell. At this point in its young life, it's on the palate that the potential really shows through. Tightly wound, with tons of latent energy, this is a very vinous Champagne. There's notes of lemon oil, toasted brioche and a hint of jasmine on the long and mineral finish. This is an incredible Champagne, with remarkable potential.
