2004 Cuvée Belle Epoque, Perrier-Jouët

2004 Cuvée Belle Epoque, Perrier-Jouët

The bottle decorated with anenomes was created in 1902 by Emile Gallé, one of the greatest figures of the Art Nouveau movement. The wine itself highlights the very best Chardonnay vineyards of the Côte des Blancs being built on the Grand Crus of Cramant and Avize with supporting structure from Pinot Noir of Mailly.

Described as being like a freshly cut diamond by Hervé Deschamps the 2004 is floral with notes of hawthorn blossom and white clover. It has a silky, elegant structure and will age effortlessly for 10+ years in the bottle.
