N/V Les Montants, Verzy Grand Cru, Adrien Renoir (2020 Base, disgorged June 2024)
This is one of the few wines in Adrien's line up made from 100% Chardonnay. It comes from one of his oldest parcels, planted in the early 1960s by massal-selection. It is a wine that speaks of its components: the Chardonnay grapes and the chalky limestone soils it grows in. This is pithy and driven.
