2025 Bandol Rosé, Domaine du Gros' Noré

A sophisticated blend of wild strawberries and raspberry which is intertwined with citrus aromas of pink grapefruit and blood orange initially hits the nose. As the wine opens up, it reveals deeper layers of white peach, floral hints of rose petal, and savoury, herbal notes of garrigue and fennel, all underlined by a distinct, refreshing sea-salt minerality. The wine is full-bodied and textural, with a remarkable combination of depth and freshness and flavours of ripe stone fruit and red berries, which is balanced by a crisp citrus tension and a savoury, saline finish.The high percentage of Mourvèdre gives this rosé a serious backbone and a spicy character.
