The second wine of Château d'Aussières, a blend of Syrah and Grenache, with a little Mourvèdre and Carignan. Inviting aromas of black fruits, spiced cherry and that tell-tale south of France scent of warm earth and herbs. It has layers of spicy fruit on the palate and a delicious, fresh, moreish character. A must to serve with cassoulet, duck and wild mushrooms.
