Initially reticent on the nose it opens up over time to reveal aromas of blossom, red apples and nectarine. It is a wine of depth, complexity and persistence with a pleasing touch of tannin akin to the feel of apple skin which nicely offsets the tension between the density and vibrancy of this wine. It is precise, seamlessly balanced and ultimately a highly elegant and refined expression of Vouvray.
