The nose is quite closed and brooding displaying soft peach notes, verbena and exotic spice with subtle chalk and gunflint. This leads to a complex and fleshy palate with a deep rich citrus fruit core beneath a veil of minerals and a lovely vibrant acidity. This is a bold, crisp and powerful wine that needs some time to settle down to fully integrate the excellent sum of its parts.
